NASHVILLE – Tennessee Department of Economic Community Development Commissioner Bob Rolfe and Campbell Arms Manufacturing, LLC officials announced today that the company will invest $1.1 million to establish a facility in McKenzie.

Campbell Arms Manufacturing plans to create 50 new jobs at the manufacturing plant in Carroll County.

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. – Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bob Rolfe and Bongards’ Creameries officials announced today that the food producer will invest $35 million to expand its manufacturing operation in Humboldt.

Bongards plans to create approximately 95 jobs over the next five years as part of the Gibson County expansion.

NASHVILLE – Tennessee Department of Economic Communit y Development Commissioner Bob Rolfe and Campbell Arms Manufacturing, LLC officials announced today that the company will invest $1.1 million to establish a facility in McKenzie.

The Delta Regional Authority (DRA) has initiated a partnership with Iowa-based nonprofit ACT to help DRA counties and parishes create the infrastructure and policies that support local workforce development and training systems through a region-specific version of the ACT Work Ready Communities Academy.

"The most important asset to a community in attracting business investment and creating jobs is having a skilled and trained workforce," DRA Federal Co-Chairman Chris Masingill said.

UNION CITY, TN (January 26, 2016) - Williams Sausage Company, Inc. has announced a $37 million investment that will result in 226 new jobs, a new 180,000-square-foot-facility, a $3 million investment to its existing facility and a new sandwich line. The new facility will be in Union City, TN, the 59-year old family-owned company's home base. UNION CITY, TN - During a press conference on Tuesday, approximately twenty business and community leaders and elected officials joined Darius and Susan Mir, Iranian immigrants and local business owners of Made In America Seating, a seating manufacturing company based in Union City, Tennessee, to hear his personal story and call for comprehensive immigration reform.

An Iranian immigrant, Darius Mir moved to the United States in 1983 and has since leveraged his businesses to give back to the country which he now calls home-- by bringing manufacturing jobs back to the United States.

Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development commissioner Bob Rolfe — along with ColorCoat Inc. officials — announced today the company will locate new operations in South Fulton.

On April 11, representatives from the Obion County Joint Economic Development Council and Chamber of Commerce, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Williams Sausage, CenterPoint Business Solutions, Commercial Bank, NW Tennessee Workforce Board, TCAT Newbern, and Obion County Schools met to discuss the implementation of the Work Ethics Certificate program in Obion County Schools, and the impact it could have on employment in our area.
